Making Maori MasksWorld Book Day 2016Class 3's got wormsIn science we have been looking as rocks, fossils and soils. We conducted an investigation, creating our own mini compost piles in the class. We were looking at translocation of soil and transformation of fruit and vegetable waste to soil, 2 of the 4 ways soil is created.
ITV visit the school!Class 3 have been receiving some coaching from Rachel Hopkins, the first female captain in a male dominated cricket league in Derbyshire.

The Amazing AmazonThis half term we are looking at the Amazon River for our topic of "rivers and mountains"

Sports Stars
Class 3 went to Lady Manners and played in a tag rugby tournament, we took 3 teams. The festival team worked on rugby skills and the other two played against other schools. Placing 3rd and 1st! Well done to everyone involved
