Days to remember:
Tuesdays and Fridays- PE Days - Children need to come to school in their PE kits. Swimming for Morpurgo has finished for this year.
Spellings and Homework - Children will be tested on their weekly spellings throughout the week and there will be no traditional spelling test on a Thursday. New spellings will be given out, when a new writing topic is started. Spellings are still available in planners and Spelling Shed. Homework will be uploaded to Seesaw or handed out in class (when applicable), which will need to be completed by the following Friday. Children are encouraged to access Spelling Shed and Times Table Rockstars at home, when possible. They are also encouraged to read at home and record this in their planner.

Our first topic back this academic year was all about The Vikings. We explored how people lived in this era by looking at different artefacts from this time and comparing them to modern day Britain. Morpurgo class also created a Viking bag; explored different Viking sagas and we placed events in chronological order. It was a mighty half term!

Autumn 2  - The Rainforest of the Amazing Amazon!
